picnic

i like picnics and today alice took me on a picnic in the park. it would have been the best sort of picnic if we had sat on a red and white checked cloth or a tartan one like in highlander and sat under a tree and had some tea and sandwiches. but alice usually sits on a bench smoking fags and looking at boys on bicycles.

terrible news

today i was looking at the news on the internet and i saw some stories that were funny and some that were sad but also i found one that is terrible and could threaten the very way we live today. i told alice about it and she didnt believe me and i could not tell her that i read it on the bbc news website because i am not allowed to use the internet.
the news story is about a cheese factory going on strike. this is the thin end of the wedge (i think that is a pun) and maybe there wont be any cheese left in the shops and what are you going to put in ploughmans sandwiches or on pizzas or under alices pillow if it is not in the shops anymore?
this is a desparate situation and all because some greedy cheese workers want more money. maybe someone can pull some strings or something (that is a pun about cheese strings which are not really cheese but are made of plastic). i dont know about unions or onions or bile anyway.
