soppy christmas songs (part one probably)

now i am getting ready for christmas i have put alices christmas cd in her stereo and i am playing it loud and repeatedly all the time to get alice in the christmas mood. i think she is getting a bit bored of elvis and the pogues and mr hankey so i have been exploring the internet (shh dont tell anyone because i am not allowed on the internet) and found this christmas song. it is a bit boring but at least there is a cartoon with bears and a moose that plays the banjo. he is the best bit. also mummy bear looks like a whore so this is not a representation of my ideal christmas at all.

today i am going to drag the decorations out from under the stairs. i expect to spend a good part of my day fighting with large spiders. i will also have to make a start on the christmas cake. extra spiders this year i think (alice doesnt like glace cherries).

i have been a very lazy bear and not written in my diary for nearly a whole 27 days. i am always a bit lazy at this time of year because i should be hibernating. but i am not a real bear so that is a poor excuse and why dont i just pull my socks up you stupid bear!
alice is having a nice time getting ready for christmas. she thinks that she is having lots of friends around for christmas and that they will bring presents and pull christmas crackers and eat christmas turkey and drink wine and whisky and eat plums.
if this christmas is anything like the last one we will eat cheese sandwiches and cola because alice will forget to pay the electricity. i wont even get the sandwiches or cola because i do not eat (i am a stuffed bear). maybe i will put some tinsel on my head.

dream dream dream

last night i had a dream or maybe i didnt but it felt like a dream. i dreamed that alice had gone on a picnic and i was there and we sat under a tree in the countryside. alice was small and she put out a rug and poured pretend tea from a bright red pot. i have to pretend to drink this pretend tea and say it is refreshing because if i dont alice gets cross.
then we had sandwiches. alice bit into her sandwich and she dropped it and there was a worm in it. she was lucky. mine had boring ham.
